Planting a mind in the soil will rot the mind.
We need to experience what we think about to see the results, to stand on it's truth then to be able to judge.
When it's foggy, you can't see behind the fog, but if you walk into it you will be able to see.
As you easily can see, all of this world has been developed and keep on developing. Artists have built the main path of that developments. Everything was able to be changed but what has been laying on the shelf of difficulty since the beginning of that revolution is the human minds.
Unfortunately Most of them are stuck somewhere. Traditions or religions or somewhere else.
The origin of any fruit is a seed which is not impressive more than the period in between with its challenges. Hardship is real boat to seal toward your dream.
Ease is fake, ease is trap, ease is the way to sank in the illusion. If you think there is something easy in this life then sit down and do nothing, show me how can you survive, if you believe there is something easy then it means you are a sleep and you will have to wake up but I wish it won't be too late for you.
We can't deny that our lives are a matter of effort. effort-birth, effort-growing, effort-love, effort-sex, effort-work, effort-to listen now. Believe in effort not ease but don't be hasty. Be patient, be wise, be clever and be you.
Don't try to change the world by looking farther through the window rather than looking into a mirror and change what has to be changed first. Don't jump and take the steps randomly then you will fall back and start again. Be precise, be disciplined.
I, you, we are the seeds of who we will be later. It is the same journey we have taken to reach Europe as a refugees. It was a journey to the unknown, nobody was sure will reach it safely. Some achieved it with the first try others had to try ten times but the rest unfortunately died.
We have passed all the kinds of struggles to be able to stand in front of you today.
The first thing we have faced is the kind of life here, to those who it was not acceptable for them, went back. Because they used to take ease as a boat to seal but they lost their opportunity. For us who were struggling since we left our homes, the migration inspired our minds. All of that struggles didn't go for no thing.
To me I began to cook, clean, iron my clothes and do my laundry which I wasn't do in Iraq.
That's how I began to see and understand how my mum was brave and great .
I began to write because the only door I found it open and welcoming me whenever I go is art and artists. I have got negative answer about my asylum and publishing the book so I did the appeal and I have build a house for a dog of a friend, I said it will remind me I did something and I won't feel useless. Then Instead of being depressed about not publishing my first book I have started to write the second one and planed two more for later. I still don't know if I will succeed or not but what is certain I am on the right way.
A sentence I keep on repeating when I feel down said by denzel washington “fall forward” that's what have happened with my first book and with the projects I have now if I fall I will fall further toward my goals. I wanted as all the refugees to make my journey worth mentioning one, I didn't want leaving my parents will be for nothing. We all have to think like that and kill the laziness and depression inside us to be able to build better life. Theo franken or any other struggle don't let it stop you, keep on trying if you really want to build a life here. Don't find an excuse to give up otherwise go back home. Get up and proof yourself you deserve this life. Wake up the lazies help them to get up or ask them to leave, don't waste your energy for them they will consume all of it then you won't have enough for your journey.
